ALEX: So you're saying your computer isn't working at all?

CUSTOMER: That's about it. I set it up, hooked up the cables, plugged it in, flipped the switch and nothing happened.

ALEX: Have you checked the power outlet to make sure it's functioning properly?

CUSTOMER: Yes, it's functioning properly! It's running off a power strip, and everything else plugged into it works fine.

ALEX: Maybe you should call the power company and have them inspect your wall outlets.

CUSTOMER: Maybe you should fix my computer.
