BOSS: Is Apple's advertising campaign actually working?
ALICE: Too early to tell, but I think it has promise. When you have a group of apparently diverse group of camera-friendly people gushing about how wonderful your product is, people tend to take notice.
BOSS: I see. So by showing slickly-produced ads of photogenic "real people" in a manner that is aimed solidly at a generation influenced by MTV and 30-second sound bytes, people may actually wind up switching over to Apple's new operating system.
BOSS: We need to get a piece of that action.
ALICE: Already working on it.
