ALEX: TiVo? The guys who make that digital VCR?

MONK: It's not a digital VCR. It's a technology that revolutionizes the way people watch television.

ALEX: It records TV. It's a VCR with a hard drive instead of a tape.

MONK: It's not even remotely the same thing!

(Silence.)

MONK: All right, there are similarities.

ALEX: Don't bother me. I'm playing Solitaire.
