MARK: Wait a minute... You don't know how to tell the truth?
ALICE: Not convincingly, no.
MARK: You have got to be kidding me.
ALICE: I was telling you the truth when I told you about this study... and your first reaction was to believe that I was lying to you.
MARK: Well, yes but -
ALICE: Telling the truth is not part of my job. My job is to IGNORE it in favor of something that will generate more sales.
MARK: And you guys were never trained for a situation where telling the truth WOULD generate sales?
ALICE: The possibility never occurred to us.
