CUSTOMER: I'm trying to activate my new iPhone.

ALEX: Do you want the unlimited data plan for $40 a month?

CUSTOMER: That depends. What does it do?

ALEX: It gives you unlimited internet access for your iPhone for $40 a month.

CUSTOMER: What does it REALLY do?

ALEX: It gives you just enough internet access so that you can't imagine using your iPhone without it, then it suspends your account for exceeding the bandwidth limit.
