Bug in page layout change
Just FYI, your top and bottom of comic navigation
tools went missing in the recent change: no "next",
etc any more. Once I go to the Archive, they
reappear.

This is a known bug.
It only affects comics as they appear on the front page. It's going to have to stay that way for a while -- I'm looking into how to fix it, but no solution has presented itself to date.
Simple solution
All you need is one extra click...either on the comic title or on the name of the comic itself at the top of the page.
You can already do that.
