BOSS: Although it required bringing in the expertise of a competitor, your mother has been found and escorted from the premises.
BOSS: I have decided that I will not press charges against her. Although it would be satisfying to exact my vengeance against her unbounded impertinence, I am told that the negative publicity such an action would cause would be too troublesome.
MARK: Well that's... good news.
BOSS: I shall, however, see to it that the son inherits every ounce of punishment that the mother has managed to avoid.
MARK: It's usually the oldest son who inherits all the family sins, isn't it? I mention this only because I'm actually the younger son.
(Silence.)
MARK: We don't get along.
BOSS: Though I admire your treachery, you are still doomed.
