JUDGE: Mr. Foule I hope you have a response to Mr. Schreck's lack of evidence concerning your client's guilt.
ADALAI FOULE: I do, Your Honor. I dispute his withheld evidence on the grounds that he is ignoring data that clears my client.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: What data?
ADALAI FOULE: Unfortunately that data comes from the same Federal database, so I'm unable to present it to the court for the very same reasons the plaintiff is unable to present his.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: I object! Due to the sensitive nature of that information there's no way the counsel for the defense could possibly have seen it!
ADALAI FOULE: Of course there is, but I can't reveal it to the court at this time.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Your Honor, my evidence is far more compelling than his.
ADALAI FOULE: On the contrary, Your Honor, my evidence clearly exonerate my client.
JUDGE: I'm just going to flip a coin.

But What Does the Coin Mean?
Honestly, I don't think it's between guilt or innocence for Viktor. I think it's between whether Viktor or Foule gets thrown out the window... and it's probably weighted so it hits on the edge, stays there, and the judge can have them *both* thrown out.
All this story needs...
All this story needs to finish breaking people's (and the judge's) brains is time travel.
